Biography

Edward Gelb is known for Confessions: Two Faces of Evil (1994), The Celebrity Game (1964) and UFO's Are Real (1979). He has been married to Dee Gardner since August 28, 1971. He was previously married to Georgine Darcy and Lynne A. Higgins.

Former detective and lieutenant with the Los Angeles Police Department. He received the LAPD's Medal of Valor.

Former president of the American Polygraph Association. He also held positions as the associations executive director and chairman of the board. In 1998 he received the association's Leonarde Keeler Award "for long and distinguished service to the polygraph profession".

Studied at the University of Southern California and the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, he studied at LaSalle University (however, this is believed to be the diploma mill in Mandeville, Louisiana, not the accredited school in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.) He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and both a Master's degree and a doctorate in Psychology.
