Biography

Barrie Gavin was born on June 10, 1935 in London, England, UK. He was a director and producer, known for Omnibus (1967), Towards Antara (1987) and Review (1969). He died on November 12, 2024.

Studied history at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge from 1954 to 1957.

Joined the BBC as an assistant film editor in 1961.

Copies of many of hiss films on contemporary music have been deposited in the archives of the Paul Sacher Foundation in Basel, Switzerland.

Was educated at St Paul's School.
