Greg Garthe
- Producer
- Additional Crew
- Director
Greg began conceptualizing movie stories at the age of six and making "growing up movies" - narrative films made amateurishly by kids - at the age of twelve.
After completing film school at USC, he was mentored by director David Dobkin and worked on his movies Shanghai Knights (2003), Fred Claus (2007), The Judge (2014), the comedy classic Wedding Crashers (2005), along with multiple TV shows, commercials, and music videos.
In 2015, Greg’s directorial debut, Last Call was released - the buddy comedy features legendary comedic actors Christopher Lloyd and Tom Arnold alongside Travis Van Winkle, Ryan Hansen, and Tara Reid.
Greg’s newest project, Growing Up Movies (2026) is set to debut across streaming platforms in 2026. The show is a celebration of youthful creativity, in which child filmmakers revisit their earliest creations from an adult perspective.
Greg is also a professional photographer, published worldwide, and a featured artist at the esteemed Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, CA. He continues to follow his dual passions of filmmaking and photography while encouraging adults to reconnect with their inner kid-like creativity and express themselves naturally in this increasingly AI driven world.
