Professional writer, producer, and storyteller, Crystal Garrett, brings over 20 years of rich experience in the entertainment industry to her craft. Her latest endeavor shines as a self-funded, produced, and directed sports documentary featuring baseball legends such as Hall of Famer Ken Griffey, Jr., superstar Mookie Betts, and icons Dusty Baker and Ron Washington, alongside a stellar cast of professionals in the field.

With 19 episodes for network television under her belt and a Hallmark made-for-television movie, Garrett's creative journey is marked by notable achievements. She has optioned an original one-hour television pilot to Warner Brothers and has collaborated with esteemed industry heavyweights like Will Packer (Beast, Ride Along), Oscar-winner Regina King (One Night in Miami), Stephen Sondheim (West Side Story), Tyler Perry (Why Did I Get Married), and Director Sheldon Epps.

Crystal's screenplay, Let the Church Say Amen, directed by Academy Award winner Regina King, left an indelible mark as it streamed on Netflix. A passionate writer, she revels in crafting original television and film dramas, dramedies, and biopics brimming with heart. Among her accolades, Garrett has been recognized as an ABC/Disney Writing Fellowship semi-finalist for one-hour scripts, a two-time Scriptapalooza first prize winner for half-hour scripts, and selected as a Writer's Digest top ten one-hour television writer.

She completed her Master of Fine Arts degree at the prestigious Old Globe Theatre's Professional Actors Program, University of San Diego. Chosen as one of seven students nationwide and awarded a full academic scholarship, Garrett's talent also graced the Broadway stage where she originated a principal role. Originally from Seattle, Washington, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Washington State University, where she excelled as a scholar-athlete. She's a member of the Writers Guild of America East.
