Biography

Fernando García Morcillo was born on February 25, 1916 in Valdemoro, Madrid, Spain. He was a composer, known for Camino del infierno (1951), Two Undercover Angels (1969) and Una cubana en España (1951). He died on December 10, 2002 in Madrid, Spain.

The Spanish release main title for Italian-Spanish co-production Ursus (1961) contains the credit "musica Mtro. García Morcillo" aka Fernando García Morcillo. Co-productions were frequently obliged to hire separate composers for each country, mainly to keep the music unions happy. The Italian and English versions of Mighty Ursus were scored by Roman Vlad.
