This actress is mistaken for another 'eponym' Gail Ganley, actress of the 1950s. Gail Ganley-Steele (acting period : 1980s -- to this day) is a different actress from the Gail Ganley of the 1950s, who played in "Not of this Earth" (1957), and other fifties movies.

Actress and dancer who featured in several films of the 50s and 60s. Ganley is perhaps most noteworthy, having sued Howard Hughes for more than half a million dollars for reneging on his promise to make her a star. She eventually accepted a $150,000-plus out-of-court settlement.
