Maria Gambarelli was born on 7 April 1900 in La Spezia, Italy. She was an actress, known for Here's to Romance (1935), Le amiche (1955) and Hooray for Love (1935). She died on 4 February 1990 in Huntington, Long Island, New York, USA.

Blond, hazel-eyed Italian-born prima ballerina of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet (1939-41), on stage from the age of thirteen.
