Just Write, his rom/com feature debut, starring Jeremy Piven, Sherilyn Fenn, JoBeth Williams and Wallace Shawn, premiered to warm reviews at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, where it won "Best of the Fest." The Los Angeles Times hailed: "Just Write is just right, a blithe yet incisive romantic comedy", while The Hollywood Reporter raved: "Piven is just perfect...Fenn turns on the charm." Just Write was distributed nationally by BMG.
In addition, his eclectic short films, The Role of Della, Killing Georgia Jones and Lost have swept up accolades and awards at film festivals worldwide.
Through his production company, RebelRobot, Andy has directed hundreds of national TV commercials for clients including Bank of America, Mazda, Taco Bell, Toyota and Mattel.
He won the Award of Excellence at the Los Angeles Women in Advertising LuLu Awards for his American Cancer Society spot. "Public service and cause-driven campaigns are some of the most important and satisfying work I do. Happily, mammogram appointments shot up 250% after the ACS spot aired."
Andrew is a member of the Directors Guild of America, with extensive experience in Europe, Canada, Hawaii, Japan and Australia and also a member of The Television Academy of Arts and Sciences.
He and his wife, Candace, reside on Vashon Island, WA and raised two awesome kids!
