Richard 'Skeets' Gallagher was born on 28 July 1891 in Terre Haute, Indiana, USA. He was an actor, known for Idiot's Delight (1939), Possessed (1931) and Lightning Strikes Twice (1934). He was married to Pauline Mason and Irene Martin. He died on 22 May 1955 in Santa Monica, California, USA.

Was nicknamed &quot;Skeets&quot; (&quot;mosquito&quot;) as a child, due to his habit of darting around at speed.

Teamed with <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm0642988/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Jack Oakie</a> in vaudeville and made six movies together.

Buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hollywood, California.

Was educated at Rose Polytechnic Institute and Indiana University, studying civil engineering and law.
