Trivia

Vladislav Galkin

  • He was Yelena Galkina's son adopted by Boris Galkin.
  • Suffered from a nervous breakdown after a nerve-wracking lawsuit in 2009 in Moscow.
  • After two surgeries on his knees he still refused to use stunts and was filming fights with the help of painkillers.
  • On February 27, 2010, at around 2:00 pm, Galkin was found dead in his Moscow apartment on Sadovaya-Spasskaya Street. The day before, his father Boris Galkin scored the alarm, telling a family friend that Vladislav was not in touch for more than a day. Friends arrived at his apartment, but no one answered the calls at the door. The called brigade of rescuers opened the apartment door at 14:07 and found him dead. He was 39. According to different data, the body was found in bed or on the floor, he was lying face down. At the initial external examination of the body, no signs of violent death were found.
