Józef Galewski was born on 10 March 1882 in Warsaw, Poland, Russian Empire [now Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland]. He was a production designer and art director, known for Krysta (1919), Dziesieciu z Pawiaka (1931) and Szlakiem hanby (1929). He died on 2 October 1966 in Skolimów, Konstancin-Jeziorna, Mazowieckie, Poland.
