Biography

Lorena Gale was born on May 9, 1958 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She was an actress, known for Freddy Got Fingered (2001), Halloween: Resurrection (2002) and The Butterfly Effect (2004). She was married to John Cooper. She died on June 21, 2009 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

She made guest appearances on all three of the longest-running North American science fiction series: The X-Files (1993), Stargate SG-1 (1997) and Smallville (2001).

Played Joice Heth in both Barnum (1986) and in P.T. Barnum (1999).

Artistic Director of Black Theatre Workshop (1984-85); Creator/director of the Program for the Artistic Development of Artists of Colour in Theatre, Vancouver (1992-94); Artistic Director of Curious Tongue Productions.

Held a Masters degree in Arts from Simon Fraser University. Attended Marianapolis College and the National Theatre School.

She appeared in an episode of Vancouver-shot The X-Files titled "Shadows" (1993), and Supernatural's episode "Shadow" (2005].
