Biography

Nikos Galanos was a Greek actor whose career in film, theater, and television spanned more than six decades. After studying acting at the Kostis Michailidis Drama School, he began appearing on screen in the early 1960s and rose to prominence as one of the leading actors of Greek cinema in the following decade. He became widely known through films such as Funny Girl (1970), Oratotis miden (1970), and I amartia tis omorfias (1972), establishing a screen persona that made him a popular leading man. As the industry evolved, he successfully transitioned to television, where he remained active for decades in series including I lampsi (1991) and The Land of the Olive Tree (2021).
