Hubert Gagnon was born on September 29, 1947 in Quebec, Canada. He was an actor, known for Team America: World Police (2004), Wild Things (1998) and Falling Down (1993). He died on June 7, 2020 in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada.

He was the voice of Homer Simpson in the French Canadian version of The Simpsons (1989) until season 27 due to health problems.

Dubbing specialist lauded for his timing and his mentoring, he dubbed in French in Québec 319 actors according to a dubbing site.

Upon his death, he was cremated and his ashes scattered.
