  • Urban Gad was born on February 12, 1879 in Korsør, Denmark. He was a director and writer, known for Die weißen Rosen (1916), The Devil's Assistant (1913) and Das Feuer (1914). He was married to Esther Burgert Westenhagen and Asta Nielsen. He died on December 26, 1947 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
