Biography

Herbert Fux was born on March 25, 1927 in Hallein, Salzburg, Austria. He was an actor and writer, known for The Three Musketeers (1993), Stockinger (1996) and Der Ochsenkrieg (1987). He was married to Edith Fux. He died on March 13, 2007 in Zurich, Switzerland.

Suffering from a debilitating illness, he committed "assisted suicide" by poison.

Was politically active in his birthplace Salzburg since 1974. Became a foundation member of the Green Party of Austria and member of the parliament during the 80ies, but withdrew soon to concentrate on acting again.
