Biography

Wera Frydtberg was born on August 11, 1926 in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. She was an actress, known for Sechs Stunden Angst (1964), Die feuerrote Baronesse (1959) and Interpol (1963). She was married to Otto Urbach. She died on June 16, 2008 in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

Leading actress, a physician's daughter. She made her theatrical debut in 1949 and became prominent in the new German cinema of the 1950's. Her notable screen roles include "Ich denke oft an Piroschka", "Der Pauker" and "Wir Wunderkinder". Extensively on stage in Vienna at the Akademie-Theater, the Kosmos-Theater and the Theater in der Josefstadt.
