An award winning and highly respected designer/director with an
extensive knowledge of every aspect of graphic design for film,
television, promotions and advertising.
This has involved directing live action, model and motion control rig filming and designing for conventional 2D animation and computer generated images, as well as the latest digital editing and visual effects.
Designed and implemented channel and programme brands for television, title sequences for feature films and programme content sequences for television, together with corporate advertising campaigns, promos and live events.
A full member of BAFTA and on their Digital Steering Committee. A member of the International Society of Typographic Designers and until recently on the Steering Committee for PROMAX Europe.
Work has been published in numerous magazines, trade annuals and books about design and typography throughout the world. Has lectured at various Colleges of Design throughout the UK and given seminars to the industry itself in London, Miami, Toronto, Frankfurt, Vienna and Berlin.
Until 2002 a Creative Director at BBC Television. From 2002 Course Director at Ravensbourne, heading BA (Hons) Motion Graphics and BA (Hons) Digital Advertising & Design courses, as well as continuing to design for television and the corporate sector.
