- Alex Frayne is a UK born, Adelaide based Australian filmmaker whose films have received attention locally and abroad. He studied Film at the Flinders University of South Australia, and graduated with a B.A in 1996.
His short film The Longing (2004) was sold into Australia, the USA, Canada, and Germany.
He then directed, edited, and produced his debut feature film Modern Love in 2007. It has screened at over 30 world festivals, secured theatrical releases in Australia and NZ and the UK, and is due for DVD release in April 2008.
He is an accomplished jazz pianist and is the holder of one of the world's largest rare Jazz Music collections. He plays professional Texas Hold'em Poker.
