Biography

Guillermo Francella was born on February 14, 1955 in Buenos Aires, Federal District, Argentina. He is an actor and producer, known for The Secret in Their Eyes (2009), The Clan (2015) and Casados con hijos (2005). He was previously married to Marynés Breña.

Big fan of Racing Club.

Became a father for the 1st time at age 35 when his wife Marynés Breña gave birth to their son Nicolás Francella on October 22, 1990.

Became a father for the 2nd time at age 38 when his wife Marynés Breña gave birth to their daughter Johanna Francella on December 4, 1993.

Son of Ricardo Héctor Francella. Younger brother of Ricardo Francella.

Grew up in Béccar, San Isidro.

I love what I do, it makes me feel alive. People often ask me, 'Don't you ever feel like doing nothing?' Quite the opposite. When I'm not doing anything, I get sluggish very quickly.

Luis Brandoni was my reference throughout my life. As a young acting student, I admired him enormously, went to see his plays, and waited for him outside the theater. Years later, I had the opportunity to meet him, work with him, and eventually become his friend. I miss him very much.
