Fred Frame was born on 3 June 1894 in Exeter, New Hampshire, USA. He was an actor, known for The Crowd Roars (1932), 1927 Indianapolis 500 (1927) and 1928 Indianapolis 500 (1928). He died on 24 April 1962 in Alameda, California, USA.

Fred Frame won the Indianapolis 500 speed car race in 1932 at an
average speed of 104.144 mph, a track record at the time.

Inducted into the New England Auto Racers Hall of Fame in 2004.
