- Arnoldo Foà was born on January 24, 1916 in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. He was an actor, known for The Trial (1962), War Gods of Babylon (1962) and Up (2009). He was married to Anna Procaccini, Patrizia Uva and Ludovica Volpe. He died on January 11, 2014 in Rome, Lazio, Italy.

- Well known for his fine and deeply resonant voice. In the 1960s he had great success with a record of Federico García Lorca's gypsy poems: a million copies were sold. Born into a Jewish family, Foa was discriminated against by the Fascist government of Italy, although his father was a decorated Italian soldier in World War One. He noted, "Laws did not really discriminate [against] me but after laws there are handouts. As for me, handouts overcame laws". Was married and divorced four times.
