He acted in William Shakespeare's play, "As You Like It", at the Old Vic Theatre and Sadler's Wells Theatre in London, England with Peggy Ashcroft, Malcolm Keen, Anthony Quayle, Alastair Sim, George Devine, Marius Goring, Roger Livesey and Caroline Keith in the cast. Harcourt Williams was the director.
