Fred S. Fox was born on July 26, 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. Fred S. was a writer and producer, known for My Favorite Martian (1963), The Tim Conway Comedy Hour (1970) and Mona McCluskey (1965). Fred S. was married to Mercedes Bigue. Fred S. died on October 23, 2005 in Encino, California, USA.

One of Bob Hope's comedy writers. Mr. Hope expected his staff to drop everything if he needed new materials even if the writer was on their honeymoon. This happened to Mr. Fox but Bob and Delores Hope made up for it by offering the use of the Hope family home in Palm Springs, California.

Began his career as a writer and producer in radio at KYA and KSFO in San Francisco.

Had a children's show "Freddie The Fox" on KSFO radio station.
