- Walt Fowler was born on March 2, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He is a composer, known for Paycheck (2003), Divergent (2014) and Face/Off (1997).
- During April and May 1974, he played trumpet on tour with Frank Zappa's band The Mothers of Invention. 14 years later, he again toured with Frank Zappa's band from February to June 1988, this time playing trumpet, flugelhorn, and synth.
