He and his wife, Betsey, have a son, J. Mark Fowler and daughter, Carrie H. Fowler. Mark is Executive Producer of Wild Life Productions.
He splits his time between New Canaan, Connecticut and his wildlife ranch in Albany, Georgia. (May 2008)
His ashes were sprinkled within an undisclosed location of Grace Farms in New Canaan, Connecticut after his cremation service at the Hoyt Funeral Home.
