- Trained (1958 - 1960) at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, and graduated with an Honours Diploma. Fellow students included: Tom Courtenay, John Thaw, Susannah York, William Gaunt, Sarah Miles and Edward Fox.
