Ruth Foster was born on January 29, 1920 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. She was an actress and editor, known for Ben Casey (1961), Cyborg 2087 (1966) and Little House on the Prairie (1974). She was married to Peter James. She died on May 12, 2012 in Del Mar, California, USA.

Mrs. Foster now resides in Greensboro NC, where she Raises three children.

On stage from the age of 12 after winning a dance contest. Subsequently appeared with travelling dance troupes and performed with the Latin Quarter Show.
