He is buried at Ferncliff Cemetery and Mausoleum in Hartsdale, New York. Callanan Mortuary supplied a temporary shroud for his corpse. It was transported in a private plane from the Los Angeles International Airport to Jamaica, Queens, New York's John F. Kennedy Airport. Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home ultimately supplied his casket.
