The motorcycle he was riding when he was struck was a souvenir from William Higgins' Class Reunion (1983). The truck that hit him had made an
illegal turn onto Sunset Blvd. Leo suffered massive head trauma
and died two days later. His lover, Craig Markle, was riding with him
but suffered only minor injuries. Chillingly, Leo had played a
motorcycle accident victim in Games (1983).
