Arthur Fontes is a filmmaker and founding partner of Conspiração, one of the largest independent production companies in Brazil. Nominated to the International Emmy Award for Best Documentary for his work in "Futebol" and "Ensaio Geral", he is also the name behind the short film "Trancado (Por Dentro)" - the first Brazilian film to be selected for the Sundance Film Festival. He also directed "The First Sin", one of the three episodes of the feature film "Betrayal", winner of the Best Film at the 1998 Huelva Film Festival, in Spain, as well as the features "Right On" and "Surf Adventures: O Filme". For television, Arthur directed episodes of the series "Mandrake" and the GNT shows "Amor Veríssimo", "Surtadas na Yoga", "Odeio Segundas" and "Histórias do Brasil". As part of his strong trajectory in the music world, he has won the main categories of the MTV Brasil Awards for his work on music videos, in addition to co-writing, with João Moreira Salles, the screenplays for the series "Caetano Veloso - 50 anos". He is working on the release of his new comedy film, "Uma Mulher Sem Filtro".
