Biography

Coen Flink was born on April 24, 1932 in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands. He was an actor and writer, known for Oppassen!!! (1991), Hollands glorie (1977) and Kant aan m'n broek! (1978). He was married to Ellen van Hemert. He died on June 29, 2000 in Blaricum, Noord-Holland, Netherlands.

Cousin of Jules Croiset and Hans Croiset

Education: Toneelschool Amsterdam.

Son-in-law of director Willy van Hemert.

Has provided a lot of Dutch Disney voices ranging from Grumpy in Snow White to Zeus in Hercules.

Flink was a successful stage actor from 1953 to 1966, after which he mostly retired from stage acting to spend more time with his family. For some time in the 1970's, he even lived on the dole and lived with his wife and children in a caravan with which they traveled through Europe. His main source of income became voice acting and his lead role in Oost west, thuis best (2000).
