Damian Fitzsimmons

  • Damian Fitzsimmons brings over twenty years of filmmaking experience to each of the projects he is involved with.

    Damian's screenplay, The Holy Land, was developed with Oscar-winning Ruby Films and the UK Film Council. He has had several commissions from the BBC, including two for its acclaimed Afternoon Plays Series, award-winning Viva Las Blackpool and The Singing Cactus. His latest feature film script, Les Aquanauts, was an official selection for two of the largest national screenwriting workshops, and his last writing collaboration, The Call Up, is now out on Netflix.

    Damian's first feature film, Across the Rails, won Best Film at the Liverpool International Film Festival, Best Cinematography at the Leavenworth First City Film Festival, and was selected in many prestigious film festivals including the Miami International Film Festival and Phoenix FIlm Festival.

    Damian has directed multiple short films and hundreds of commercials. He wrote and directed his first Amazon Prime TV show, Life's Rewards, now in its second season.
