He was a director and writer, known for It's So Nice to Have a Wolf Around the House (1979), Still Life with Animated Dogs (2001) and My Dog Tulip (2009). He was married to Helena Fierlinger and Sandra Fierlinger. He died on April 4, 2025 in Penn Wynne, Pennsylvania, USA.
