Milenia Fiedler, film editor, Lodz, Poland.
She graduated from FAMU, Prague, then Czechoslovakia, in 1989. She has been working as a film and TV editor since 1992.
She edited over 40 full length fiction and documentary films, over 100 TV series, documentaries and dramas in Poland, Switzerland and Holland. The most prominent films in her filmography are: Oscar nominated "Katyn" and "Sweet Rush" by Andrzej Wajda, documentary "The Photographer" by Dariusz Jablonski and "Danger Zone" by Vita Drygas. She worked with Filip Bajon, Janusz Majewski, Krzysztof Zanussi, Urszula Antoniak, Fulvio Bernasconi among others.
She was rewarded with prize for the best editing at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 1997 and 2001 and nominated for Polish Film Award "Eagle" (2002, 2008, 2014, 2019, 2024). She is a member of the Polish Film Academy and European Film Academy. She has been teaching editing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz, PhD since 2005. Since 2020 she has been the Rector of the School.
