Niv Fichman is a four-time Canadian Screen Award-winning film producer and the co-founder of Rhombus Media. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has become one of Canada’s most influential figures in independent and international cinema.
Fichman is best known for producing major international co-productions and collaborating with acclaimed directors. His notable film credits include the Academy Award-winning The Red Violin (1998), Denis Villeneuve's psychological thriller Enemy (2013), Fernando Meirelles' Blindness (2008), and Brandon Cronenberg's Possessor (2020). More recently, he produced the critically acclaimed tech-drama BlackBerry (2023) and served as an executive producer on Park Chan-wook’s HBO series The Sympathizer (2024).
In recognition of his immense contributions to the global and Canadian entertainment industry, Fichman was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2026.
