Brando began his film activities as a cine amateur and received the highest recognition at domestic amateur film festivals. Later on, he worked as a cinematographer on many documentary and feature films, as well as short films and TV series. In 2003, he established Petra Pan Film, an independent film production based in Ljubljana and Skopje. In 2010, he established the MakeDox International Creative Documentary Film Festival in Skopje and Traveling Docu Cinema in the Balkans. He is a member of EFA and last time awarded for cinematography at SEE Film Festival 2017 in Los Angeles.
