Biography

Don Fellows was born on December 2, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. He was an actor, known for Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Superman II (1980) and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace (1987). He was married to Miranda Fellows. He died on October 21, 2007 in London, England, UK.

Conquered a career-threatening stutter and later became in demand for voiceover work. It was actor Henry Fonda, who he worked with on stage and credited for pointing him toward a speech therapist to overcome his stutter.

Created the role of Buzz Adams in the Broadway musical "South Pacific".

American character player and acting teacher who studied at the Actors Studio from 1952 on and later had a thriving career in England. Appeared in many musicals including the original Broadway production of "South Pacific" and such West End productions as "Promises, Promises," "Crazy for You" and "Chicago", as well as the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Married twice. He had two daughters, Chrissie and Susannah, from his first marriage, and two daughters, Samantha and Georgina, from his second. He met his second wife, Miranda, a dancer/choreographer, in London while performing in a 1969 production of "Promises, Promises" (she was a lead dancer). She survives him.

Graduated from the University of Wisconsin and the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, New York.
