- Stuart has worked as a WGA writer and DGA First Assistant Director on dozens of film and television projects. He has written for the NBC dramas Law & Order, SVU, and the USA series Royal Pains, and was an adjunct TV Writing instructor at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Raised in Merrick, NY, he is a graduate of Northwestern University and the DGA Trainee Program (NY).

- His half-hour comedy script "Stiffs" won the Showtime Tony Cox TV Pilot Competition at the Nantucket Film Festival. It also won Best TV Comedy Pilot at the 2025 Big Apple Film Festival.
