- As an agent in Hollywood he had more than 300 clients, including Greta Garbo, Marlene Dietrich, Susan Hayward, Lana Turner, Ida Lupino, John Wayne, Richard Burton, Charles Boyer, William Holden, and Kirk Douglas.
- Pioneered the one-picture deal rather than the prevailing long-term contracts between studios and stars.
- Abandoned his law practice in 1928 to become president of Famous Artists, a leading talent agency. Among his agents was Alain Bernheim.
- To pay for his college tuition, Feldman worked in the camera departments of many studios. Among his friends were Leon Shamroy and Gregg Toland. He worked for John Ford as a second assistant cameraman.
