- In January 2026 she told Gala magazine : "In 2007, I had brain surgery because of an aneurysm, and in four years, I underwent three heart operations".
- On 11 April 2026, Farès was found unconscious in a gym swimming pool at the private sports complex of Blanche in Paris. She was rescued by a fellow swimmer who attempted to revive her by administering CPR, before being taken to Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital where she was put into an artificially induced coma until she suffered cardiac arrest.
