Ahmed Farhat was discovered by the great director Salah Abu Seif when he was eight years old.

After he was retired, he decided to return to the world of acting again on television and theater. Ahmed Farhat also presented a program called " Farhat's Memories " on the Arab Family Channel, but it did not gain sufficient popularity.

He also had an influential role in the movie "The Secret of the Invisibility Cap," which marked a turning point in his artistic career and demonstrated his ability to embody the main roles with complete perfection.

Despite Farhat's brilliance in the sixties, where many predicted a promising future for him in the world of art, he retired from acting after 1967 and turned to studying communications.

Farhat married 3 times during his life and did not have children from any of them, due to his hormonal imbalance . He told his last wife about this and was surprised when the third wife said that she also could not have children.

He completed his primary education and after finishing high school he joined a higher industrial institute and specialized in the field of communications. Then he worked as a communications engineer in the presidency of the republic during the era of Mohamed Hosni Mubarak .

Farhat appeared for the first time as a child in the world of cinema, and he was known for his wit and unique talent, which made him popular among his colleagues and audiences.

Ahmed Farahat was called "the most famous child in Egyptian cinema," and throughout his artistic career he presented more than 100 films and plays.

Farhat appeared in famous films decades ago, most notably "The Secret of the Invisibility Cap" in 1959, in which he shared the lead role at the age of 9 with the late star Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, "Love Street" in 1958, starring Abdel Halim Hafez and Sabah, and "Love Rumor" in 1961, starring Omar Sharif, Soad Hosny, and Youssef Wahbi.

In recent television interviews, Farhat revealed that he worked as an engineer in the presidency for about 30 years, after he left acting. In 2012, he returned to acting again, but in simple roles, including the movie " Half a Day ", the movie " Our Effendi ", and the sitcom "A Family on an Official Mission", which did not achieve sufficient success and no one paid attention to him, so he even criticized the directors and producers in television interviews in which he appeared.
