Kaarin Fairfax was born on September 30, 1959 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She is an actress and director, known for Bed of Roses (2008), The Greta Fragments (2018) and StalkHer (2015). She has been married to Paul Kelly since 1988. They have two children.

Daughter of George Fairfax and Joy Fairfax. George was a well-known stage actor in Melbourne, Australia (St. Martins Theatre) and appeared in many early TV shows such as Homicide (1964) (uncredited). He went on to be instrumental in the construction of the Victorian Arts Centre.
