Biography

George Fairfax was born in 1928 in Australia. He was an actor, known for Blue Heelers (1994), Golden Braid (1990) and Phoenix (1992). He died on September 8, 1996.

He was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1984 Queen's New Years Honours List for his services to the performing arts.

Was instrumental in the construction of the Victorian Arts Centre in Melbourne.

Father of Kaarin Fairfax.
