Rubens Ewald Filho was born on March 7, 1945 in Santos, São Paulo, Brazil. He was a writer and actor, known for Éramos Seis (1994), Éramos Seis (1977) and Gina (1978). He died on June 19, 2019 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Cinema critique

A well-respected film critic in Brazil, who was invited by several Brazilian TV networks to comment on the ceremonies of The Oscar, among others, he was reported to have amassed many notebooks with his personal notes on an incredible 70,000 film titles (among which were Hollywood, Asian and European classics) throughout a time span of more than six decades out of his 74 years of life.
