Biography

Ed Evanko was born on October 19, 1941 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was an actor, known for Sudden Death (1995), Double Jeopardy (1999) and First Wave (1998). He died on November 18, 2018 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

Performed at Canada's Stratford Festival, playing the title role in Candide

Was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood in 2005 and serves as the pastor of Holy Dormition of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church in Richmond, B.C.

Evanko trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and sang with the English Opera Group and with the Welsh National Opera Company in the 1970s.
