Biography

Núria Espert was born on June 11, 1935 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. She is an actress and director, known for The Age of Innocence (1993), Actresses (1997) and Lletres catalanes (1974).

Mother of Alicia Moreno and Núria Moreno.

In 1986 she was awarded with the London Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Director for her work in The House of Bernarda Alba.

Grandmother of Barbara Lluch.

Núria Espert is fluent in Catalan.
