Peter Michael Escovedo was born on July 7, 1961 in Alameda County, California, USA. He is a director and actor, known for Jack (1996), The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990) and Elvis Presley's Rock-N-Renovation.

Sister is musician Sheila E.

Believed to be the biological father of Nicole Richie and a reunion was staged on The Wayne Brady Show (2002). But Nicole has stated in interviews that Escovedo is not her birth father.

Son of Pete Escovedo.

Brother of Juan Escovedo, Sheila E. and Zina Escovedo.

Like his father he is a percussionist.
