- Makhmud Esambayev was born on July 15, 1924 in Starye Atagi, Chechen Autonomous Oblast, RSFSR, USSR [now Chechnya, Russia]. He was an actor, known for I Will Dance! (1962), Lebedinoe ozero (1969) and Swan Lake: Kirov/Yelena Yevteyeva/John Markovsky (2003). He died on January 7, 2000 in Moscow, Russia.
