Raquel Ércole was born in 1940 in Neiva, Huila, Colombia. She was an actress, known for Perro amor (1998), Rauzán (2000) and Bajo el ardiente sol (1971). She was married to Lizardo Díaz Muñoz. She died on 13 December 2021 in Bogota, Colombia.

In 1957, she represented Bogotá in the Concurso Nacional de Belleza promoted in Colombia. She was already known as the dancer who accompanied the dinging duo Los Tolimenses (Emeterio y Felipe) and then became a TV actress with a long career.
